We called Barrhead Lock & Door late on a Sunday evening as we couldn't lock our front door. The call initially rang out, but David called us back a few minutes later (when he got back in with the dog! 😂 ) I explained the situation & David said it sounded like the door needed realigned, he gave me a price & we asked him to come out immediately. David arrived in about 10 minutes & within a short time had the door working, he even took a look at the back door as my hubby explained we were having a similar problem locking that. We would definitely recommend David & Barrhead Lock & Door, for a very timeous response, a polite, professional approach, value for money to get peace of mind & we'd absolutely use the company again. My elderly mum lost her back door keys today and had left a key in the front door lock so I couldn’t get in with my spare key. I called David and he met us at her house half an hour later. Within ten minutes he had opened the locked door and replaced the lock with a brand new unit and 5 keys. The price was very reasonable for a quick and professional job, but the cost was more than worth it to have peace of mind for my mum. Thanks so much David. Highly recommended

Phoned BL&D and David answered straight away (no, leave a message and I'll get back to you) and after explaining that our lock mechanism INSIDE the door had snapped into 2 pieces, David arranged to drop by as soon as he could. 45 minutes later he was on our doorstep. He was very polite, professional and efficient. We had a brand new mechanism (better than before) replaced and operating within half an hour. Prices were excellent and service 2nd to none.
